Luke was a connection for three or so years before we started working with his new employer. The client was looking to hire an additional director to work on Commercial Strategy in their Life Sciences team. Luke was frustrated in his existing role and needed something that gave him a clearer career route to Partner level and it quickly became clear that he was perfect for the team.
How Did You Meet Greybridge?
I met Richard Adams when he was recruiting into the team of the company I was working for at the time. We stayed in touch and built up a good rapport. Rich understood I was frustrated in my current role and when a new opportunity arose that Richard believed would be ideal, he discussed it with me.
Yes and No. I have met both good and bad recruiters and have had a mixed experience with Linked-In. I have been headhunted by a lot of recruiters but the roles are usually completely off the mark.
Your Greybridge Experience?

Rich is great to deal with, a genuinely nice guy who is easy to get on with and not at all pushy. He makes me feel like a person rather than just another candidate. If my phone rings and it’s Rich, I’ll answer, not something I can say for many other consultants I know!
How Do You Rate Greybridge?
My experience of Greybridge is Rich and I feel very loyal to him but from what I know, this culture runs throughout the company. With one particular role, I actually went to offer stage but then decided to pull out. Neither Rich nor Greybridge pressurised me but were incredibly supportive about my decision.
Would You Change Anything?
The process is lengthy but the delay tends to be on the client side, Greybridge are responsive and good at negotiating the final package, I felt comfortable leaving them to do this. They make sure you are well looked after!
I would definitely use Greybridge again for both my own personal career progression and to recruit. Having had experience with both larger corporates and smaller agencies like Greybridge, I would choose to work with the latter every time.
